How to change the Apache port in WHM

Introduction

There may be times you need to leave Apache running, but you need to run this on a different port. This article provides the steps needed to change the Apache ports.

Procedure

1. Log into WHM as the 'root' user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Server Configuration / Tweak Settings."
3. Click the "System" tab.
4. Select the textbox option for "Apache non-SSL IP/port."
5. Enter the new port number after the colon.

   0.0.0.0:81

6. Select the textbox option for "Apache SSL port."
7. Enter the new port number after the colon.

   0.0.0.0:444

8. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
9. Click the "Save" button.
