How to enable compression for Nginx

Introduction

cPanel provides the ea-nginx-gzip package to enable gzip compression in NGINX. This article provides the procedure to install the package through "EasyApache 4."

Procedure

1. Log into WHM as the ‘root’ user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Software / EasyApache 4."
3. Select the button to "Customize" button in the "Currently Installed Packages" section.
4. Click the "Additional Packages" link.
5. Search for "nginx-gzip."
6. Toggle the package to "Install."
7. Click the "Review" link.
8. Click the "Provision" button.
