Introduction
Roundcube's Delivery Status Notifications (DSN) feature allows you to request a notification stating that the recipient received your message.
Request a notification message when the message is delivered.
This will be sent by the email server upon message delivery.
Please note that this doesn't confirm that the actual recipient has received the message.
Procedure
DSN must be enabled server-wide in WHM. It must then be enabled for an individual email account.
Enable DSN in WHM.

- Log into WHM as the 'root' user.
- Navigate to "Home / Service Configuration / Exim Configuration Manager."
- Click the "Mail" tab on the "Basic Editor" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Hosts to which to advertise the SMTP DSN option" option.
- Select the empty textbox.
- Enter
*
in the textbox to allow all domains to use DSN.
Please note that you may alternatively use the Exim host list syntax to specify a list of domains. - Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the "Save" button.
Enable DSN for an email account.

- Log into Webmail on the email account for which to enable DSN.
- Open Roundcube if it doesn't automatically load.
- Click the "Setting" icon.
- Click "Preferences."
- Click "Composing Messages."
- Toggle the "Always request a delivery status notification" setting.
- Click the "Save" button.
