How do you activate an ImunifyAV+ or Imunify360 license that was purchased through cPanel?

Answer

Most of the time, the ImunifyAV+ or Imunify360 license should update automatically.

There may be times when you need to activate the license manually. The following procedure can be used if you find that your license has not automatically activated.

Note: cPanel uses IP-based licensing. This means that there is no activation key. Please use the command below to enable your IP-based license from cPanel. If you purchased your license from CloudLinux, you must reach out to CloudLinux support for your license key.

1. Log in to the server via SSH or WHM's Terminal as the root user

2. Issue one of the following commands, depending on whether you purchased a license for ImunifyAV+ or Imunify360.

   ImunifyAV+

   # imunify-antivirus register IPL

   Imunify360

   # imunify360-agent register IPL

3. Log in to WHM as the root user
4. Navigate to Home / Plugins / ImunifyAV+ or Imunify360
5. Review the EULA, and if you agree to the license, accept it
