Symptoms
There are several possible scenarios that will result in the Email Disk usage in cPanel not updating immediately or showing different results from command-line tools like "du".
Specific Cases:
- mdbox mailboxes are not updating after deleting messages
- maildirsize file has not updated after removing messages
- Trash is not counted, resulting in du showing more space used than cPanel
- Mail compression results in du showing less space used than cPanel
