How do I install legacy versions of PHP?

cPanel provides the latest stable versions of PHP available for each operating system.
What versions of PHP does cPanel support?
If you require a legacy version of PHP not already supported by EasyApache, the CloudLinux team offers their Hardened PHP versions via both CloudLinux OS and Imunify360:
On all versions of CloudLinux, the following versions are supported:
- PHP 5.6
- PHP 7.0
- PHP 7.1
- PHP 7.2
- PHP 7.3
- PHP 7.4
- PHP 8.0
- PHP 8.1
- PHP 8.2
- PHP 8.3
On CloudLinux 7 and CloudLinux 8, these additional versions are available:
- PHP 5.1
- PHP 5.2
- PHP 5.3
- PHP 5.4
- PHP 5.5

For newer operating systems that do not have Legacy PHP versions available for install, you may be interested in TuxCare ELS PHP. This allows you to install legacy PHP versions with hotfixes and security updates beyond their normal End-Of-Life period. This is currently available for all supported cPanel versions:
