PHP segmentation fault when using fonts with ImageMagick

Symptoms

PHP may encounter a segmentation fault when running scripts that use fonts with ImageMagick. The issue affects servers that have the ea-libxml2-2.15.1-2.2.1 package.

Cause

Running a script that uses fonts with ImageMagick may hit a segmentation fault on servers that have the 2.15.1-2.2.1 version of the ea-libxml2 package.

Resolution

Downgrade ea-libxml2 or temporarily disable ImageMagick.
