Introduction
The purpose of this article is to outline the process of opening a support ticket.
Procedure
With a cPanel Direct license, you can open a support request with cPanel Technical Support in WHM at "Home / Support / Create Support Ticket." This interface guides you through the support request creation process and helps identify your support request requirements. It also automates the SSH authorization process.
Please note that this method is only available for servers with licenses under the "cPanel Direct" Partner NOC starting cPanel/WHM version 118. The source of your license can be checked on the following page:
Otherwise, you can perform the following steps to submit a request for cPanel Technical Support:
- Log in to the cPanel Customer Portal interface. The cPanel Customer Portal uses the same login details as your cPanel Store account.
- Click Submit a Request. You can find this at the top of the cPanel Customer Portal.
- Follow the prompts to complete your support request.
- After you complete your support request, you will receive an email confirmation. This email contains your support request’s ID. It also provides information about how to grant cPanel Technical Support access to your server.
