How to enable PHP extension shmop

Introduction

This guide explains the procedure required to install the PHP extension.

 

Procedure

In SSH, install the module called PHP process. This module is available in the below PHP versions.

 

ea-php54-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces
ea-php55-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces
ea-php56-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces
ea-php70-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces
ea-php71-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces
ea-php72-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces
ea-php73-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces
ea-php74-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces
ea-php80-php-process.x86_64 : Modules for PHP script using system process interfaces

 

To install run the below command for the desired PHP version. Using PHP version 7.3 as an example.

 

yum install ea-php74-php-process.x86_64

 

This installation can also be performed inside of the WHM EasyApache 4 interface.

 

  • Login to WHM
  • Navigate to EasyApache 4
  • Select to customize profile
  • Navigate to PHP Extensions
  • Enter search "php-process"
  • Click the toggle button to select the module for install

  • Navigate to Review
  • Click Provision at the bottom of the page
