Why is alt-php used when ea-php has been selected?

Why is alt-php used when I've specifically chosen to use ea-php? 

Answer

If the PHP version for the domain in MultiPHPManager is configured to either inherit or manually set to the system PHP version, alt-php will be used. If set to any other PHP version MultiPHPManager takes precedence, and PHP Selector is not used.
