The reality is that it’s impossible to fully stop email spoofing; however, it can be reduced. The following DNS records can assist in reducing email spoofing:

• SPF
• DKIM
• DMARC

These records can all be enabled via an account's cPanel with the "Email Deliverability" tool.

Email spoofing cannot be fully stopped because the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, which is the foundation for sending emails, doesn’t require any authentication. That’s the vulnerability of the technology.
