How-To Assign a Dedicated IP address to an account.

Introduction

This article's purpose is to instruct a root-level user on how to add a dedicated IP address to a specific account. The server will require at least one free IP address to perform this action.

Procedure

1. Log into the WHM as the 'root' user.
2. Navigate to Account Functions >> Change Site's IP Address
3. After selecting the cPanel user, locate the 'New Address' box, pick the IP you want to dedicate to this account from the dropdown list and select 'Change.'
   
4. Afterward, you will be directed to a page that will show in bold at the bottom.
   Account modified. New IP is: (the IP that was selected)
