How can I remove backups from jet backup? 

Is it possible to remove backups manually?

Answer

Jet backup does not recommend the removal of backups manually from the destination, As jet backup will remove the backups from the destination as per the retention set during each backup job execution.

For example, if you have 50 backups stored on jet backup and change the 'retain' value to 5 backups, the next time the backup job executes all but the most recent 5 backups will be removed. The documentation below shows how to do this on Jetbackup version 4.x and 5.1
