DNS Zone Manager loading slow with DNS cluster

Symptoms

The DNS Zone Manager in cPanel and WHM loads slowly when the server is connected to a DNS Cluster.

Cause

The DNS Zone Manager makes queries to the remote DNS Cluster members to ensure it has the most up to date domain information. This will cause delays when loading the interface if this query to the remote nameservers takes too long, or times out. Typically this is caused by a network issue between the servers.

Resolution

Review the dnsadmin service log to determine which members are timing out. Once identified, either remove them or resolve the network connectivity issues between the servers
