How do I transfer a license to another IP address in the cPanel store?

Answer

If you need to move your cPanel license to a different server or IP address, you can do so by updating the IP address in the cPanel Store and refreshing the license on your server.

Note: This process applies to cPanel Store licenses only. cPanel Partners should use Manage2 or submit a request to Customer Service directly for license conversions or assistance:

Submit a Request to Customer Service 

1. Log in to your cPanel Store account:
   cPanel Store Portal
   
   1. Click Orders/Licenses, then select View My Licenses from the top menu.
      
2. Locate the license you'd like to update and click on the product name.
3. Scroll down to the Manage section and click Edit IP Address.
   
4. Enter the new IP address for your server.
   
5. Click Edit IP Address to save the change.
6. Once the license is updated on the cPanel store, access your server using SSH as the root user.

7. Run the following command to refresh the license on your server:

   # /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
