How do you prevent Exim from forwarding spam?

Answer

This article covers configuring Exim to not forward mail based on the message's Apache SpamAssassin™ Spam score.

1. Log in to the server via SSH or WHM's Terminal as the root user
2. Navigate to Home / Service Configuration / Exim Configuration Manager
3. Enable one of the following options:
   • Do not forward mail to external recipients if it matches the Apache SpamAssassin™ internal spam_score setting

   • Do not forward mail to external recipients based on the defined Apache SpamAssassin™ score

     Note: Both these options require that each user enable Apache SpamAssassin™ or Apache SpamAssassin™: Forced Global ON.
