Can I change the document root for www.domain.tld?

I want www.domain.tld and domain.tld to have a different directory as a docroot. Is this possible?

Answer

This cannot be done as the cPanel and WHM software hard codes the www subdomain to all new domains. You can instead create a different subdomain like www2.domain.tld and customize its document root.
