How to set the contact email used in SOA records

Introduction

This article covers how to set the contact email used in SOA records.

Procedure

The email address used in SOA records can be set in the Contact Information section on the following page in WHM.

This change will only affect domains created after the change. Existing domains will need to be updated in the following location in WHM.

Note that the SOA email address should have the @ (at symbol) replaced with a period, and it must end in a period as well. For example, if your contact email is "user@domain.tld", the SOA version of the contact email would be "user.domain.tld."
