Dovecot 2.4: configuration option 'imap_id_log' replaced by 'imap_id_received'

Symptoms

When attempting to use cPanel templates for Dovecot,  you may find 'imap_id_log' option can not be modified.

Description

Using Dovecot 2.4, the option 'imap_id_log' is replaced by 'imap_id_received'. This prevents it from being modified when using the cPanel templates.

We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-51398. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
