What to do after the cPanel license IP has changed

Introduction

After changing the cPanel license IP, multiple steps must be taken to ensure the change is updated everywhere on the server. These steps are meant to be taken after the server's IP has been changed at your service provider and in the operating system configuration.

Procedure

After changing the licensed IP at your hosting provider and the servers network configuration, the licensed IP needs to be transferred to the new IP:

After the licensed IP is changed, run the mainipcheck script to update the main IP in the WHM configuration:

Next, make sure the servers shared IP address is set to the new IP:
