How to Synchronize DNS records to a cPanel DNS Cluster

Introduction

In order to synchronize DNS records to a cluster, you must first configure a DNS cluster:

Via WHM

1. Log in to WHM as the root user
2. Navigate to Home / DNS Functions / Synchronize DNS Records
3. Select the option most appropriate. Use the default option if you are not sure.
4. Click the blue Synchronize button

Via The /scripts/dnscluster Script

1. Log in to the server as the root user via SSH or use the Terminal feature in WHM as the root user
2. Run the following command to see the options for the script:
   /scripts/dnscluster
3. If you're not sure, you can just use the following option:
   /scripts/dnscluster syncall
