Our license renewals occur on the 1st of the month for all direct store customers. If the license renewal fails, the license and invoice are expired after the 4th day of the month.
If a renewal invoice is unsuccessful and the license has expired, the full outstanding invoice will require payment to activate the license on whatever day of the month that occurs.
Though the license expired, we do not remove your content or the cPanel software as we do not retain access to servers. Though access does become limited, the software is still installed on your server, and containing your content.
If we were to continue the service with full access, then one could allow their license to expire and continue using the software without any reason to pay for the renewal. This is why we must limit the cPanel access when the scheduled renewal goes unpaid.
When the license is renewed, your content and services are rendered entirely and no actual late fees are applied for paying for the license on a later date.
The following month's renewal will still occur on the 1st day of the month.
This policy is one all of our clients agree to in the cPanel EULA:
cPanel EULA (end-user license agreement)
Store Legal Agreement:

The policy regarding monthly licenses can be found in section 3.
