Symptoms
When attempting to create an account, the following response is reported.
The system failed to find the IPv4 address for “hostname.domain.tld”. Because of this, the system cannot find “domain.tld”’s authoritative nameservers. See the cPanel WHM error log for more details.
Description
This response results from the system's inability to communicate with upstream nameservers.
Workaround
The firewall needs to be open for DNS communication. This is done on port 53 for both TCP and UDP.
