Trial license banner still appears after activating license

Symptoms

The trial license banner appears on login after upgrading the trial license to a standard license.

Description

It has come to our attention that the trial license banner continues appearing after upgrading from a trial license to a normal one. This appears to be caused by some cache files that aren't refreshed when the license is upgraded.

We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-43781. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product. 

Workaround

Clear the cache

mv /var/cpanel/caches/showtemplate.stor{,.$( date +%Y%m%d )}
