How to reset your email password through the cPanel interface

Introduction

As the cPanel account owner, you find it necessary to reset the password for some of your email accounts.

Using the 'User Manager' interface shows the list of email accounts available with a convenient 'Edit' link for each.

The "Email Accounts" interface can also be used for this process.

Procedure

1. Log into cPanel associated with the domain for which you'd like to modify an account.
2. Navigate to "cPanel / Preferences / User Manager."
3. Use the Search field or Filter Options (Gear icon) to narrow your search.
4. Once you locate the email address, click the 'Edit' link.
5. Change the password.
6. Click 'Save' at the bottom.
