Symptoms
In an application on your server or a client on your workstation, trying to use a .internal domain leads to a DNS lookup failure.
Description
.internal, commonly used as part of the default hostname on VPS servers, is a placeholder Top Level Domain. Your .internal hostname is not a valid Fully-Qualified Domain Name.
Workaround
You will need to replace the usage of the .internal domain with either the IP address of the server you are trying to reach or a valid fully-qualified domain name that resolves to the server.
If you need to update your hostname, navigate to WHM > Change Hostname.
