How to set up nameservers with Network Solutions

Introduction

The use of private/custom nameservers is fully supported on cPanel & WHM systems, but must first be set up with your domain registrar. The following are the instructions for setting this up with Network Solutions.

Procedure

To register with Network Solutions, perform the following steps:

• Click Manage Host Servers at the bottom left of the interface.

  Note: If this link fails to appear, use this alternate address.

• Enter your first nameserverʼs hostname (for example: ns1.example.com) in the first text box.
• Click Continue.
• Enter the IP address of your first nameserver.
• Click Continue.
• Confirm the changes to the host server.
• Click Apply Change.
• Click Back to Account Manager Home.
• Click OK.
• Repeat this process for your second nameserver.
