Symptoms
When visiting your domain in a browser, you may see:
This site can't be reached.
example .tld's server IP address could not be found.
You will also see "Domain Status: serverHold" when performing a WHOIS lookup on your domain.
Example:
# whois example.tld | grep -i status
status: ACTIVE
Domain Status: serverHold https://icann.org/epp#serverHold
Description
The serverHold status is set by a domain's registrar and indicates a domain has not been activated in DNS.
Workaround
To resolve this, you will need to reach out to your domain's registrar to request the removal of the serverHold status.
