How to edit an OVH-managed DNS zone

Introduction

If your domain is utilizing OVH-provided name servers, changes must be applied via the OVH DNS Dashboard.

You can confirm your domain's configured name servers via the WHOIS command:

whois domain.com | grep -i Name | tail -2

Here is an example of a domain returning OVH name servers:

[root@server ~#] whois domain.com | grep -i Name | tail -2
Name Server: dnsX1.ovh.net
Name Server: dnsX2.ovh.net
