Introduction
When trying to connect to your email account with older mail clients, such as Outlook 2007, you may receive an error message stating that no supported encryption methods are available or that the encryption methods are outdated.
Procedure
Outlook 2007 and older do not support the current TLS versions by default. The only server-side changes to enable connections from the older clients are to enable insecure protocols. We do not recommend allowing weaker protocols; instead, we suggest using newer mail clients that can connect via more secure methods.
Users who insist on using older clients should enable Windows TLS support on their local machines.
