How do you completely disable and turn off SpamAssassin™ (spamd) on a cPanel server?

Answer

1. Access the server via WHM as the 'root' user.
2. Navigate to Home / Server Configuration / Tweak Settings
3. Under the Mail tab, toggle the setting Enable Apache SpamAssassin™ spam filter to Off
4. Click Save to commit the changes to the Tweak Settings.
5. Navigate to Home / Service Configuration / Service Manager
6. Deselect the option to enable Apache SpamAssassin™
7. Click Save to commit the changes to the Service Manager
